The Three Gees
|
The Three Gees is a band of three youngsters in Berlin, Germany. Lina, Jule and Paul Gerlitz are their names. They sing harmonies and play instruments for mostly covers of positive pop songs from recent past decades.
Their father, Carsten Gerlitz, is a choir director and choir workshop leader who works with sacred music and secular music choirs. For the Three Gees, he writes arrangements, plays many instruments, records tracks and mixes all of the sound tracks to make the finished music videos. With the help of their father in their in-home music studio and in many locations around the world, the Three Gees have recorded many music videos, which are available on their own YouTube channel. A song bridging peoples
"Ebi," a famous and beloved male Iranian Muslim singer, and Liel Kolet, a famous female Israeli Jewish singer and international peace activist, combine their voices in this new music video of the song, "I Can Hear Christmas," an appeal for peace among all humankind during this Christian observance. People-to-people connections and diplomacy efforts will overcome elite-to-elite and ideologue-to-ideologue arrogance, competitions, jealousies, hates, fears, distrusts, hostilities, offenses, aggressions and violence. Join the human family. Reach to others of other cultures. "Harmony through love, enlightenment, principle, respect, engagement, courage and justice!" Mark the Cab Driver |

Give Thanks
Whether in a residence grand Or in a hovel bland, Whether at a major event Or alone in a tent, Whether among a great host Or alone grilling toast, Give thanks for all that you have. Whether with loved ones near Or with just their memories dear, Give thanks for all that you have. Love those who you have While you still can; you never know when life will end. Pause On this day To say thanks in your way. Thank the Creator and Sustainer If you recognize such a power. Thank that power For your members and senses and faculties Wondrous, For shelter and raiment and sustenance Fabulous, For nature in beauty and majesty and complexity Marvelous, For the songs of the wind and the surf and the beasts Melodious. Both deep in your heart And face to face do impart Your thanks and your blessings to those Who sow and who grow, Who make and who bake, Who repair and who care, Who protect and who inspect, To provide your security, sufficiency and frivolity. Be nourished and warmed By memories formed On Thanksgivings long, long ago And take on this day New memories away To sustain you And fill you Tomorrow. Memorial Mile war memorial
If you are in Gainesville, Florida, be certain to visit the Memorial Mile tribute to all United States service members who have died in their service in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan. This is the eighth, Memorial Day weekend Memorial Mile tribute that members and supporters of the Gainesville Chapter of Veterans For Peace have presented to the public.
The tribute features 6,694 temporary grave markers--one for each service member who died in the fighting in those southwest Asian countries. The display extends along the parkways on both sides of Northwest 8th Avenue between Northwest 22 Street and Northwest 34th Street. The tribute will be on display until dusk on Memorial Day, Monday, May 28, 2013.
Visitors may park in the Westside Park parking lot just north of the intersection of Northwest 8th Avenue and Northwest 34th Street.
Please stop to honor the fallen by remembering their sacrifices and renew your dedication to promoting harmonious coexistence among all peoples.
